Terms of Service & Client Engagement
South African business • Quotations normally issued in ZAR
1. Quotations and scope. Work begins only after written acceptance of a quotation or proposal describing deliverables, price and milestones. Any additional work requires agreement on scope and fees.
2. Currency and payment. Quotations are normally in South African rand (ZAR). International clients may request a separately agreed foreign-currency quotation. Deposits and balances are set out in each accepted quotation; no standard deposit applies to every service.
3. Client inputs and timelines. Timelines depend on receipt of required materials, approvals and payments. Changes or delayed feedback may change delivery dates.
4. Revisions and changes. The number of included revisions is stated in the quotation. Work outside that allowance may require an additional quote.
5. Cancellation and refunds. If a project is cancelled, the parties will assess completed work, committed third-party costs and payments already received. Any refund or remaining payment is subject to the agreed quotation and applicable South African consumer law.
6. Handover and rights. Final deliverables and editable/source files are provided only as described in the accepted scope. Intellectual property transfer or licensing terms must be agreed in writing; third-party assets remain subject to their licences.
7. Printing and physical production. Where a quotation includes printing, fabrication, finishing, delivery or other third-party production, specifications, quantities, lead times and applicable supplier costs will be confirmed before production. Minor colour or material variations may occur between screen previews and physical output. Client approval of final artwork is required before production, and reprints caused by approved artwork or client-supplied errors may be separately chargeable.
8. Advertising and market research. Advertising scope, platforms, research methods, reporting and any media spend or third-party data costs are confirmed in the quotation. Market research findings are based on the information, sample, sources and period available and are intended to support business decisions rather than guarantee a particular commercial result. Advertising performance can vary by audience, market conditions, platform changes and client budget.
9. Management consultancy. Consultancy deliverables may include strategic recommendations, commercial assessments, growth planning, market-entry support, process review and management advisory. Recommendations are based on the project scope and information available at the time. BAEJORA does not provide regulated legal, audit, tax or investment advice unless separately delivered by an appropriately qualified professional.
10. IT support and technology services. IT support may include computer formatting, operating-system installation or configuration, software installation and troubleshooting, and network or connectivity support as stated in the quotation or support scope. Before formatting, reinstallation or other work that could affect stored information, the client is responsible for ensuring important data is backed up unless a separate backup service is expressly agreed. Software licences, activation keys and account credentials must be valid and authorised for use. BAEJORA does not guarantee recovery of lost or corrupted data, and hardware faults or third-party provider failures may require separate specialist or supplier support.
11. Third-party services. Hosting, domains, software subscriptions, advertising media spend, research databases, statutory charges and platform fees are excluded unless expressly included. External provider uptime, policies and approvals are outside BAEJORA's control.
12. Confidentiality and privacy. We handle client information according to our Privacy Policy and Confidentiality Commitment.
13. Disputes and governing law. Parties should first attempt to resolve concerns in writing. South African law applies, subject to mandatory consumer protections.
These website terms are general information. The signed or accepted project quotation governs specific services. Independent South African legal review is recommended before relying on these terms contractually.
